Notes: I was up early one morning with nothing to do so I wondered down to a little spot I've been wanting to shoot a sunrise at & waited about 1 1/2 hours for the sun to come up. After it finally began to show I realized that I had unfortunately miscalculated & the sun was rising way off to the right of my location (almost 90 degrees to the right of focal point) but of course I got up & took the shot anyway. Actually I spent almost 30 minutes in this one spot before moving on to another early morning shooting location.
<lameness>Even when I get a crappy sunrise, sometimes just the event itself is enough to make me stop & realize that just being alive can really be enough. So what if my girlfriend left me & I don't make enough money, so what if I drive a busted ass mini-van without working doors & no window locks, I'm alive.</lameness>
Then I'll usually get another debt bill in the mail & I quickly forget about that magical moment in the sunrise
Lemme know what you think, please. I went with B&W because there really wasn't much color to see in the sky & I liked the way the leaves in the foreground looked plus I've always been a sucker for water reflections in grayscale.
